These handcrafted Hummel figurines come direct from the world's only authorized producer of Hummel designs and features St. Nicholas' Day and Ruprecht figurines. The St. Nicholas' Day was released in fall of 1997 and has an incised 1996 copyright date. Father Christmas was modeled in 1986 by Gerhard Skrobek and has an incised 1987 copyright date of. Each piece is back-stamped by Goebel and carries the M.I. Hummel signature. In addition, a Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each. Each piece is part of a Limited Edition of 20000 sequentially numbered pieces.

M.I. Hummel products are the result of a successful partnership between W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik (German for porcelain factory) and the talented German artist, Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel. Her paintings of youthful innocence have been transformed by the master artists of the Goebel factory into three-dimensional works of art.
