This colorful tapestry boasts a picturesque scene of a large, finely clad elephant walking through the jungle. Woven in the Oriental style at Aubusson for the Industrial Exhibition of 1844, the original measures over 18-feet high and 23-feet long and includes gold and silver thread. This piece features rich tones in brown, sage, forest, cream, burgundy, gold, marigold, and rust, it also measures a smaller 60 inches x 80 inches.
